Short & honest: This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, and it does not load fonts or scripts from third-party servers. Data only reaches third parties if you actively trigger it yourself – for example by loading the Spotify player or by sending us an e-mail.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. When you access the pages, the web server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (server log files):
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- requested file or URL and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- browser type, operating system and HTTP status code
This processing is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and functional operation). Log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes, unless they are required to investigate a specific security incident. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
3. No cookies, no tracking, local fonts
We do not set cookies and do not store any information on your device (including local storage). There is no audience measurement, no social media plug-ins and no profiling. All fonts, images and videos are hosted on our own server; no connections are made to Google Fonts, CDNs or other third parties when the pages load.
Interactive features such as the quiz “Which Robot Girl are you?”, the penlight mode or the vinyl colour picker run exclusively in your browser. Your input is neither stored nor sent to us and is gone when you reload the page.
Automatic language selection
This website is available in German, English and Japanese. When you open the start address, we forward you to the matching language version. To do this, the language set in your browser is evaluated – either directly in your browser via JavaScript or based on the language header (Accept-Language) that your browser sends to the server with every request anyway. This information is neither stored nor logged, and no cookie is set. Your manual choice via the language switcher is not stored either; it follows solely from the address you open (/de/, /en/, /ja/). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in showing you the content in a language you understand).
4. Contact by e-mail
If you contact us by e-mail, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, content of your message) in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Vinyl pre-order
Vinyl pre-orders are made exclusively by e-mail to order@robotgirls.music. The “Pre-order now” button merely opens a prepared message in your own e-mail program; no data is transmitted automatically. With your e-mail we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, quantity and, later, possibly delivery address and payment information) to handle your pre-order, send you an offer with price and delivery date and – if you place an order – to fulfil the contract. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If a purchase contract is concluded, we keep the records relevant under commercial and tax law for the statutory periods (generally 6 or 10 years, Section 257 German Commercial Code, Section 147 German Fiscal Code); otherwise we delete your data at the latest 6 months after the end of our communication. For shipping we only pass on the data necessary to the respective carrier.
5. Spotify player (two-click solution)
On the “Music” page you can load a Spotify player to listen to the album right here. The provider is Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden. The player is only loaded when you click “Load Spotify player”. Before that, there is no connection to Spotify.
After the click, your browser connects to Spotify’s servers. At least your IP address, information about your browser and device and the page visited are transmitted; Spotify may also use cookies or similar technologies and – if you are logged in to Spotify – associate the use with your account. A transfer to countries outside the EU (e.g. the USA) cannot be ruled out.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), which you give by clicking. Your consent only applies to the current page view and is not stored; you withdraw it by reloading or leaving the page. Details can be found in Spotify’s privacy policy ↗.
6. Videos
The music videos and the short loops on the “Videos” page are played directly from our server. No video platforms are embedded and no data is transmitted to third parties.
7. Links to other websites
We link to services such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. You only leave our website when you click such a link; the respective provider is responsible for any processing there.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77), for example the authority of your place of residence or the one responsible for us. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
